SBBJ Saral bachat khata Features

This is a no frill account for financial inclusion. To facilitate low-income group customers, SBBJ offers No Frill account, SBBJ Saral bachat khata where minimum balance requirement is Nil.

The SBBJ Saral bachat khata can be opened on the basis of introduction from an existing customer of the Bank with minimum initial deposit of Rs. 5/-. Photo of the customer will be required. Money can be deposited freely in the account.

There are no minimum or maximum deposit periods for this offering.
Minimum withdrawal amount Rs. 50/-
A maximum of 5 withdrawals per month are permitted in the account.
Minimum deposit can be Rs. 1000/-.
Deposits can be accepted for upto 10-year period.
Interest is payable at quarterly intervals.
Option to withdraw interest at monthly (discounted)/ quarterly intervals.
Suitable to meet monthly expenditure
TDS is deductible as per rules.
